Ace UpIn short: Ace Up is a blackjack trainer for learning and entertainment, not gambling. Aces are play money with no cash value. Your progress lives on your device. Premium is billed and managed by Apple or Google.
1. Who we are
Ace Up (the "App") is provided by Gleb Safronov, a self-employed developer in Barcelona, Spain ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@aceup.one. See the legal notice for full details.
2. Agreement
By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA for an App Store download, the EULA prevails.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it.
4. Free features and Premium
You can use Ace Up's core features for free, with daily limits. Premium is an optional upgrade that unlocks unlimited training, all trainer modes, all lessons, full progress insights and a larger daily Aces bonus. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: weekly, monthly or yearly. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial. Prices are shown in the App before you buy, in your local currency, including taxes where applicable.
5. Subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase or, if a free trial applies, when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion ends when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.
6. Aces (virtual currency)
- Aces are an in-app virtual currency. Earning or buying Aces gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them for content and features inside the App, such as the story and Quick Play tables.
- Aces have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money, goods or services, withdrawn, transferred to another person or sold.
- Purchased Aces are consumable and are delivered immediately after purchase. They are non-refundable, except where the law or the store's policy says otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU, you agree that delivery starts immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once delivery has started with your consent.
- Aces are stored on your device. If you delete the App or lose your device, your Aces balance is lost and we cannot restore it.
- We may change the prices of Aces packs, the Aces you can earn, and what Aces can be used for.
7. No gambling, no guarantee
- The App is for learning and entertainment only. It does not offer real-money gambling, and you cannot win money or prizes of real value.
- Your results in the App, including accuracy, counting speed and story wins, do not guarantee any result in a real casino. Blackjack has a house edge, and even perfect strategy does not remove the risk of losing money.
- Casinos may prohibit card counting, refuse to deal to you or ask you to leave. If you play in real life, follow the laws where you are and the rules of the venue.
- You must be 18 or older to use the App.
8. Your data and progress
Your lessons, progress, settings and Aces balance are stored only on your device. We have no copy of them and cannot restore them if your device is lost, damaged or reset, or if you uninstall the App. A Premium subscription can be restored on a new device through the store; see Support.
9. Not gambling or financial advice
Strategy tips, odds, statistics and cost figures in the App are for learning and may contain errors. Nothing in the App is gambling, financial, investment or legal advice.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the App. We aim to keep paid features working for the period you paid for. If we materially reduce Premium features during a paid period, your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for losses from gambling in real life, or for loss of progress or Aces stored on your device. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under EU and Spanish law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App or on this page before they apply.
