Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

In short: Ace Up keeps your lessons, progress and Aces on your own device. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. To handle in-app purchases, the app uses Adapty, which receives a random ID, basic device data and your purchase records, but never your name or email.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Gleb Safronov, a self-employed developer (autónomo) based in Barcelona, Spain. Full details are in the legal notice. For anything about your data, write to hello@aceup.one.

Data stored in the app

You don't need an account: Ace Up never asks for your name, email or phone number. Your lessons, progress, statistics, settings and Aces balance are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us or to any third party. There is no server copy and no cloud sync, so uninstalling the app deletes them.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions and Aces packs are paid through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your name, email or payment details. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to these payments.

To show the paywall, check whether you have an active subscription, and make and restore purchases, the app uses Adapty, a service of Adapty Tech Inc. (USA), which processes this data on our behalf as our processor. The app does not send Adapty a user ID, name or email. Adapty receives:

Adapty never receives your payment card details. The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you, that is, giving you what you bought (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in running purchases reliably and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Adapty may process this data outside the EU, including in the United States; these transfers are protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We keep purchase records only as long as needed to provide your purchases and to meet legal obligations. See Adapty's privacy policy for app users.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Ace Up contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not access your advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, GAID on Android) and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you.

Notifications

Daily reminders are local notifications. The app schedules them on your device, and nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.

Music and artwork

Music, images and other artwork are built into the app. Ace Up does not download them from a server.

Store statistics

Apple and Google may give developers aggregated, anonymous statistics such as downloads, ratings and crash reports, depending on your device settings. We cannot use them to identify you.

This website

aceup.one uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type for a short time to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Emails to us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Your app data stays on your device, so you control it fully, and uninstalling the app removes it. Under the GDPR you can also ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port personal data we hold about you or that Adapty processes for us, and object to its processing. Because we don't know who you are, we may ask for a purchase receipt to find your records. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the authority in your country.

California residents

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. The only personal information processed through the app is the purchase data described above, used only to provide your purchases.

Children

Ace Up is rated 18+ because it contains simulated gambling. It is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how Ace Up handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. If a future feature needs to send more data off your device, it will be clearly explained in the app before it applies.
